King's Cross Railway Lands Group (KXRLG): membership, donations
KXRLG is a network of group and individual members with many years experience of campaigning and of dealing with planning applications, making representations to national and local government, disseminating information and gathering opinions. Our members have vast knowledge and experience of town planning, community consultation, transport, heritage, environmental and health concerns among many others and we have the confidence to succeed.
We do get grant funding from time to time but it is not always guaranteed and we need the subscription fees our members provide to keep us in a position to do at least the bare minimum to keep us going. Our annual membership fees are extremely low for an organisation with our level of experience and commitment but additional donations are always welcome.
Membership is open to supporters of the Group's aims: individuals who live or work in Camden or Islington and groups whose activities include this area.

You do not have to be a resident in King's Cross or the surrounding area or to work here or to come here for leisure or to pursue other interests to support our work. We welcome supporters from anywhere in the world.
Sometimes in the past, donations, anonymous or otherwise, have literally saved our life. We are very careful with money and have never been in a position to waste it (nor would we if we were): we have been too close to extinction to behave in anything less than a frugal way and, through hard experience, we manage our work in ways that make the best possible use of available resources.
